Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Malbec based blend opens with a fragrant black cherry bouquet with a hint of prune and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and graceful. The flavor profile is a tasty black raspberry with notes of black plum and faint oak. There is also a little hint of minerality in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins drift away nicely. This very nice red wine is ready to go and would pair well with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: At first sight the wine shows an attractive red-violet color, intense and profound. In the nose one feels delicate dark fruits like blueberries, cassis, and blackberries. One can also feel subtle notes of anise and flowers. In the background, aromas from the oak barrels like cloves, tobacco and spices can be savored. It has a very complex and elegant aromatic personality. In the mouth one can perceive an immensely solid structure with firm, mature tannins. The acidity makes the wine vivacious and fresh.
