Wine Review: This is the kind of Malbec that brought Argentinian Malbecs to prominence. It is Very Good and a lot of wine for the money. We described it as opaque and dark purple colored with a shy blackberry bouquet with hints of oak and tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, viscous and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a ripe red currant with hints of blackberry, oak, and coffee. The finish is rather dry and its sticky tannins linger for quite some time. The panel suggested pairing this bargain Malbec with a messy rack of ribs or a Kona encrusted strip steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Lively deep red purple color. Intense red and black fruits aromas such as prunes and cherries with black pepper and tobacco. Also spicy notes. Soft and velvety entry, round tannins. Persistent finish.
