Wine Review: This almost clear-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Ziata opens with a pretty white floral bouquet with hints of passion fruit, lime, and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth, delicate, and refined. The flavor profile is very tasty light lemon-lime and saline blend with notes of chalky minerality, white grapefruit, and grilled pineapple. We also detected some hints of vanilla, green apple and a touch of ginger tea in the mix. The finish is dry and its flavors and polished acidity drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would sip this gem on a warm summer day. With food we would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with lemon sole Veronique. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc bursts open with aromas of lime zest, meringue and soft orange blossom. The wine is medium-bodied with a satin-like texture on the palate, and notes of wet stone provide a beautiful complement to the citrus elements that lead into the lingering, juicy finish.
