Wine Review: This very clear ruby colored red blend opens with a spicy blackberry nose with hints of strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and shows pleasant gentle acidity. The flavor profile is a spicy blackberry with notes of black pepper and red raspberry. This is also just a hint of strawberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. This fruit forward red grape blend would pair very well with a messy rack of barbecue ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Each grape adds its own nuance: Grenache adds rich raspberry flavors; Mourvèdre brings notes of blueberry; Syrah, flavors of blackberry and ripe tannins and a touch of Cinsaut’s dusty berry notes. These layers of flavor enable this wine to pair with a wide variety of foods from mushroom pizza to rosemary crusted leg of lamb. You can enjoy this wine now or cellar for the next five to seven years. - Clay Brock, Winemaker
