Wine Review: This white gold colored Chard will really appeal to readers who like fruit driven Chard with little to no oak influence. It opens with a fragrant and attractive tropical fruit like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and slightly crisp with gentle acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty fresh mild lemon with a touch of green apple. The finish is dry, very refreshing, and enjoyable. This wine is a very versatile food wine. Try it with grilled swordfish with a mango salsa. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The resulting wine has bright mango, papaya, tangerine and pear aromas and flavors that marry with toasty oak from ten months of barrel aging. This wine will pair well with shellfish or light pasta over the next several years.
