Wine Review: This translucent and bright straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre opens with a white florals and orange peel bouquet with hints of candied lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, gentle, and refined with nice finesse. The flavor profile is gentle lime and honeydew melon blend with notes of Bosc pear and lemongrass. I also detected hints of faint white grapefruit. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity gracefully drift away. I would pair this delicate Sauvignon Blanc with a baked Dover sole. Enjoy - Ken
