Wine Review: This dark ruby colored kitchen sink red blend opens with mild boysenberry and gentle blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy going. The flavor profile is a mild plum with hints of acai and black raspberry with a hint of old oak and minerality. The finish is dry and has dusty tannins that linger nicely. This is a very nice certified organic everyday red wine. I would pair it with Theresa’s meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This is our fourth vintage of Hi-Rollr Red, named after our Wine Club. It is a delicious red blend consisting of: 35% Merlot, 22% Malbec, 14% Carignane, 12% Zinfandel, 9% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon. Bright boysenberry and raspberry aromas lead into fruity flavors with a gently spicy finish to make it a real crowd pleaser. Loaded with sweet berry and spice flavors, it has a friendly finish yet with enough impact and acidity to compliment a wide variety of foods. A delicious wine for everyday drinking. This vintage has a bit more spice and structure, so it will pair with nicely with Italian foods such as lasagna, sausage and peppers or pasta with pesto.
