Wine Review: This bright ruby colored Pinot Noir from New Zealand opens with a challenging tomato vine, matchstick and plum bouquet. It does blow off with some swirling. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with moderate acidity. It is fruit forward and very juicy. The flavor profile is a rhubarb and spiced red plum blend with notes of loam, graphite, and red raspberry. I also detected hints of cola and chai tea in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its flavors and mild tannins are nicely prolonged. I would let this Pinot breath for a bit and then pair it with fresh sliced Norwegian salmon. Enjoy - Ken

Palate: The palate is full and structured, yet elegant with flavors of luscious dark cherry, balanced with a fine tannins and mineral acidity.
Food Match: This wine matches beautifully with red meat dishes, including venison and lamb.
