Wine Review: This deep purple colored Syrah opens with smoky oak and blackberry bramble bouquet with hints of dried rosemary and red currant. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced and has nice traction in your mouth. The flavor profile is a cassis and graphite blend with notes of oak and black tea. We also detected hints of black raspberry plum, loam, and dried herbs. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins linger and last for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would decant this Syrah and then pair it with a well-marble ribeye or with a cassoulet. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep purple color with a purple hue.

Nose: An expressive nose marked by black fruit, such as blackcurrant or cassis. A hint of mint may be observed when the wine is left to breathe.
Palate: The palate is rich and generous. Aromas of black fruit develop with intensity. Velvety tannins give this wine delicious fullness, with a hint of freshness on the finish.
Pairing: Pan-fried rump steak with mashed potato or with shavings of mature Mimolette cheese.
