Wine Review: This ruby colored Grenache from Barossa is very interesting and intriguing. It opens with a plum and cranberry bouquet with hints of cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, juicy and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty tart cherry with notes of old oak and cinnamon. I also detected hints of pomegranate, black pepper and mild minerality throughout. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Grenache is drinking very well right now and would pair perfectly with a filet mignon from your favorite steakhouse. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine shows savoury cherry red fruits and complex aromas of powdery spices, white pepper, mushrooms, earth and truffles. A full, rich and juicy wine with a vibrant fruit, balanced with fresh acidity and a long grainy tannin finish. Perfect with a French cheese platter.
