Wine Review: This pale golden yellow-colored Pinot Blanc is a "Trocken" (dry) styled wine. It opens with a fragrant ginger, pink apple, and wet stone bouquet with hints of matchstick and spiced pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, polished and yet lively. The flavor profile is a flinty mineral, spiced Anjou pear and ginger blend with notes of white pepper and lime zest. We also detected hints of pineapple, tart grapefruit, and saline. The finish is dry and quite refreshing. We would serve this Pinot Blanc slightly chilled at the beach on a hot day with oysters. Enjoy - Ken & Mark
