Wine Review: This pale brassy gold colored Pinot Blanc from the Rheinhessen opens with an Anjou pear and lemon bouquet with hints of wet slate, honeydew melon, and jasmine tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, creamy and well balanced. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe Anjou pear with notes of green apple and lime. We also detected hints of honeydew, lemon-lime, ginger and minerality mixed in. The finish is dry and its pleasant acidity and flavors fade away nicely. The Panel would pair this Pinot Blanc with broiled sea scallops, baked haddock, pan-seared halibut. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Elegant, with fine aromas of ripe fruit, basil and mint. Creamy and fresh with vibrant acidity and a fine minerality. Invigorating freshness of ripe fruits and nuts. An everyday wine; pairs well with all foods.
