Wine Review: This pale straw colored dry Pinot Blanc from Germany is a nice food wine. It opens with a pleasant ripe green apple bouquet with a hint of beer. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is green apple with notes of nicely integrated minerality and hints of pilsner beer. I also detected a hint of lime and Anjou pear as well. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would pair this food friendly wine with grilled scallops marinated with an Asian lime-chile sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Elegant, with fine aromas of ripe fruit, basil and mint. Creamy and fresh with vibrant acidity and a fine minerality. Invigorating freshness of ripe fruits and nuts. An everyday Pinot Blanc; pairs well with all foods.
