Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Grüner Veltliner opens with a mild lime zest and white flowers bouquet with hints of white peach. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and pleasant. The flavor profile is a gentle lime, saline, and mild stony minerality blend with notes of white tea and green apple. I also detected some hints of faint white grapefruit. The finish is dry and very refreshing. I would pair this easy to drink and affordable Gruner with oysters on the half shell on the beach or by the pool this summer. Serve slightly chilled. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Yellow straw color; aromas of flowers, peach with white pepper notes, dry, light to medium bodied, well-balanced crisp acidity, with flavors of spice, light herbs, and mineral. Drinking time: now and within the next 2 years Serving temperature: 8°C. Goes very well with veal and fish specialties. Especially Austrian cuisine. Such as "Wiener Schnitzel".
