Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet from Lodi opens with a black raspberry and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, fruit forward, and soft. The flavor profile is a black cherry and black currant blend. There is a touch of oak mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its mild tannins linger slightly. I would pair this affodable everyday Cab with a pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: It opens with a mild black currant bouquet with a hint of menthol. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and soft. The flavor profile is an oak infused black currant with notes of dark chocolate and black cherry. The finish is dry and its gentle moderate tannins are tingly and slightly prolonged. This is a pleasant and easy going Cab that has some character.
