Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from Oregon opens with a very mild pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy for a Chard. The flavor profile is a lemon, chalky mineral and pear blend with hints of oak and a touch of caramel in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This is a nice food Chard and would pair well with chicken piccata. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Perfumed with touches of citrus, honeysuckle and white flowers, the palate boasts a silky texture highlighted by lemon cream and meringue. Tropical melon marks the entry while the finish lingers with notes of brown sugar and fresh biscuits.
