Wine Review: This dark red colored Oregon Pinot Noir from Winderlea is very good. This wine opens with a mild strawberry and plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a light plum and spice blend with notes of gentle minerality. There are also hints of faint black pepper and strawberry towards the end. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This Pinot is food friendly and would pair well with grilled pork chops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This intriguing wine shows flavors that oscillate between sweet, primary aromas of cherry, vanilla and wild rose against a backdrop of cocoa and fresh brewed espresso. Thyme and wild strawberry mark a broad and lengthy finish.
