Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with a mild red raspberry bouquet with a hint of pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, delicate and gentle. The flavor profile is a mild strawberry and raspberry blend with hints of oak, minerality and a dash of black pepper in the background. The finish is dry and slowly fades away. This Pinot is very food friendly and would pair nicely with lighter fare. I paired it with pork schnitzel. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Notes of bramble, spice, cranberry and plum lead to a palate marked by cherry cola, huckleberry, cinnamon and dried blueberry. Mouthwatering structure, firm tannin and a big finish will have you reaching for a second glass.
