Wine Review: This is a bold Pinot Noir from Winderlea opens with a cranberry, crushed oyster shell, rose petal and candle wax bouquet. It is translucent ruby color and is light to medium bodied, bone dry, with tart acidity. Tart cranberry flavors blend with red plum and toasted oak. The finish shows moderate length. A savory turkey tetrazzini would be enjoyable with this bottle. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: From our newest estate vineyard in the Coast Ranges of the McMinnville AVA comes a Pinot Noir that exemplifies the richness of this region. The striking nose of this wine shows earthy, dried herbs alongside ripe cherry and bay leaf. The palate mimics the aromatic tension between sweet and savory, continuing with black tea, plum and blueberry pie, ending with a mouthwatering finish that just won't stop.
