Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Winderlea opens a mild red raspberry and strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild red plum and strawberry blend with notes of gentle minerality. I also detected hints of oak, pomegranate and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot is food friendly and would pair nicely with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A bright ruby red color this pretty and sassy wine shows great red fruit (cherries, strawberries and cranberries) on the nose and follows through on the palate. Delicious layers of red fruit combine with subtle savory notes to create a silky wine that is ready to drink and enjoy now or cellar for a decade.
