Wine Review: This pale straw colored Chardonnay opens with a Meyer lemon bouquet with hints of mild oak and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balance and silky smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty green apple and butterscotch blend with hints of gentle oak, banana and toasted almond. This finish is dry and its flavors show nice length and drift away. This elegant Chard is food friendly and would pair well with a chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a mild cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright citrus aromas of Meyer lemon, white clover, and honey comb tease your olfactory gland to the beauty of this wine. On the palate, it opens to yellow plum, citrus zest and the roundness of brioche. The silky mouthfeel is enlivened by vibrant acidity. This wine displays the refined expression of both Chardonnay varietal character and the Anderson Valley terroir.
