Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay from Chablis opens with a pineapple and apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and gentle. The flavor profile is a chalky minerality and green apple blend with notes of green tea and quince. I also detected hints of lemon and saline. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this Chard with chicken piccata. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: It opens with a very fresh bouquet with notes of citrus and white-fleshed fruit. On the palate, it is fresh and supple. The wine is marked by mineral notes that are typical of Chablis. Pair with fish dishes, grilled or in a light sauce or with oysters or sushi.
