Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from William Fevre opens with croissant and pineapple bouquet with hints of bee’s wax and Bosc pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, clean, delicate, and smooth. The flavor profile is gentle Granny Smith apple and chamomile tea blend with notes of chalky minerality, lime and saline. We also detected hints of lemon. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. The Tasting Panel would serve this food friendly Chard with a Caesar salad and baked Dover sole. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A structured, lively, and mineral wine with good length on the palate. Both straightforward and fresh, with exemplary concentration. Pair with fish, shellfish, and other seafood, grilled or in a cream sauce. Poultry and white meat, grilled or in a cream sauce.
