Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with a black raspberry and craisin bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with pleasant medium acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty boysenberry and black raspberry crumble pie with notes of oak and black licorice. I also detected hints black pepper, craisin and black tea. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins and fruit flavors linger and last for a very long time. This impressive Pinot would pair well with veal tenderloin medallions with a brown butter sauce and mushrooms. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This expressive Pinot Noir offers notes of boysenberry, blackberry, and red raspberry. Those flavors carry through to a juicy and intense palate that finishes with great vibrancy, purity, and length.
