Wine Review: This light golden colored Chardonnay from Wente opens with a very nice nose of tropical fruits featuring pineapple, banana and mango with a little bit of gentle oak mixed in. On the palate, it is medium bodied and nicely balanced. It is creamy, yet still has a crisp mouthfeel. The flavor profile is green apple and melon with notes of gentle minerality. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. We would serve this enjoyable Chard with a chicken and broccoli pasta dish. - Karen and Stuart
