Wine Review: This light straw colored Chardonnay from Wente opens with a mild oak, butter and pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a butter infused pear with hints of toasted marshmallow and coconut towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. The panel suggested pairing this Chard with variety of foods. Ranging from lobster ravioli, to baked brie with blueberries on French bread or finally tequila lime soaked grilled turkey tips. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This is a beautifully balanced, full-bodied Chardonnay with aromas of ripe apple, apricot and nutmeg that integrate perfectly with flavors of tropical fruit, graham and clove. With crisp acidity and a smooth finish, this is a wonderful example of Livermore Valley Chardonnay
