Wine Review: This light yellow colored Gewurztraminer opens with a fragrant apricot bouquet with a hint of pineapple. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich, viscous, and moderately sweet. The flavor profile is a very tasty ripe apricot with a touch of peach and orange in the aftertaste. The finish is semi-sweet and its fruit flavors linger slightly. This wine would pair well with an assortment of sharp cheeses. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: 42 grams of residual sugar. The varietal nose of rose petals. Thick and oily; very spicy, burnt sugar cinnamon toast, almond extract and cashew nuts. A bit bitter, very typical for the varietal. A silky, creamy finish with baby sweet and sour fruit.
