Wine Review: This intriguing food friendly Rose has a light salmon color with an orange tinge. Pear, wet slate and herbal notes are found in the bouquet. This wine is slightly savory, dry, with a medium body and slight acidity. It displays flavors of white peach, red raspberry, watermelon and honey. The finish lingers nicely. Serve a summer lunch of poached salmon with this Rose. - Mark.

Winemaker Notes: 100% Pinotage still graces the wine – we think we’ve found the perfect recipe, so why change it? To preserve the delicate floral (jasmine) and fruit (raspberry) aromas, we bottle it as young as possible and send it to you to enjoy in its prime. Over the last year, we’ve tried this wine with all sorts of dishes, and most of them worked to perfection. A favorite: beef tartare with a drizzle of truffle oil, served with crunchy sour dough toast.
