Wine Review: This ruby port opens with musky aromas of green hardwood, beef jerky and espresso. On the palate, the flavors are semisweet chocolate, raspberry preserves and sloe plum. Some of the fruit seems desiccated, but more like an Amarone than like prunes. The port is not overly sweet and the finish is silky smooth and creamy. This is delightful as a digestif or with your favorite cigar. - Jeoff

Winemaker Notes: This is a full and fruity Ruby Port in the classic style. Excellent Tuality comparing very favorably with many Reserve Ruby Ports sold at higher prices. The perfect “pouring” Port. Warre's Heritage Ruby pairs wonderfully with cheese and rich chocolate desserts. It does not need to be decanted.
