Wine Review: This is a very approachable, soft Cabernet Sauvignon from South Australia. It is a clear medium ruby color. It opens with red cherry, black currant, and dried herbs aromas. It is very smooth and slightly jammy on the palate, with a medium body and moderate acidity. There are flavors of black cherry, cassis, chocolate, coffee, brown sugar, and baking spices. The finish is moderate, with gentle round tannins. You could have this Cab on a weeknight with shepherd's pie. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: At release, the wine is a vibrant crimson red. It has rich aromas of black currant and dark cherry with a touch of savory tobacco from the oak. A balanced, medium-bodied wine with a gentle palate of juicy black currant fruits, along with subtle coffee and savory cedar. The wine has a silky-smooth mouthfeel and a lingering finish.
