Wine Review: This is a very easy drinking, summer style Chardonnay from Australia that was not aged in oak at all. It is almost clear with a bouquet of peach, citrus and light tropical pineapple notes. On the palate it is medium bodied with gentle acidity. It displays flavors of green apple, lemon, melon and minerality. It has a crisp long finish with a faint green herbal undertone. Pairing this with grilled herb chicken and a summer salad would be terrific. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Pale straw with a slightly green tinge. Fresh, lifted aromas of yellow peach, along with some subtle tropical fruit characters and a touch of lemony citrus. A medium weight palate with fleshy yellow peach, subtle pineapple and citrus flavours. There is a refreshing, tight acidity and a lovely clean finish. This wine shows the pure vibrant fruit characters of Chardonnay without the influence of oak. Crafted for immediate enjoyment. It is an easy drinking, 'any occasion' wine that is enjoyable on its own or partnered with a fresh Spring salad.
