Wine Review: This almost clear colored Reisling based blend from the Finger Lakes opens with a mild lychee bouquet with a hint of wet stone. On the palate, this wine feels off-dry, acidic, mouthwatering and juicy. The flavor profile is a blend of lychee and tart lime with notes of yellow grapefruit. I also detected hints minerality throughout and a touch of candied ginger towards end. The finish is dry and refreshing. This is a very nice summer wine. I would serve it cool with grilled scallops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A dry blend of Riesling and Gewurztraminer - All fruit and spice and everything nice! Named after the deepest point of Seneca Lake, located directly in front of our vineyards, measuring 107 Fathoms deep (or 640 feet). Excellent pairing wine - well suited for a holiday dinner!
