Wine Review: This almost clear colored Trocken (dry) styled Riesling from the Pfalz region of Germany opens with a nectarine pit and wet stone bouquet with a hint of lime zest. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, zesty, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a lime and white grapefruit blend with notes of chalky minerality and tonic water. I also detected some hints of white peach and a dash white pepper. The finish is quite dry, and its flavors and acidity show nice length. I would serve this Riesling slightly chilled on a hot day, on the beach, this summer. Enjoy – Ken
