Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and deep garnet colored Carmenere opens with a black raspberry, black plum and paprika bouquet with hints of green pepper fig and leather. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. We also found it to be concentrated and juicy. The flavor profile is unique rustic blend of stuffed green bell peppers and earthy loam with notes of sour black cherry and graphite. We also detected hints of salumi, black plum and black olive mixed in. The finish is and its flavors and mild dusty tannins fade away nicely. The Panel would pair this good value Carmenere with a lamb burger or lamb curry stew. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A deep violet red color, on the nose this wine offers outstanding berry aromas along with subtle notes of sweet herbs and blond tobacco. The palate features good volume and structure combined with well-proportioned tannins, and acidity that gives way to an enjoyable, balanced finish.
