Wine Review: This translucent straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Australia opens with a refreshingly ripe melon, citrus and light herb bouquet. The light plus palate is smooth, crisp, juicy, bold, mouthwatering, and dry with bright acidity and balanced minerality. The flavor profile is a lively lemon, pineapple, pear, tangerine, and light peach blend with motes of herb and oak. The layered structure is a nice plus. The mouth puckering dry lemon finish lingers and fades away nicely. I would recommend pairing this intriguing Sauvignon Blanc from Australia with fried whole belly clams with tartar sauce. - Joe
