Wine Review: This medium purple colored Shiraz opens with a black raspberry and wet stone bouquet with hints of black cherry and nutmeg. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, well-balanced, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is graphite influenced black currant and red plum blend with notes of red raspberry. We also detected hints of bacon fat and espresso in the mix. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show very nice length. The Tasting Panel would pair this Shiraz with mushroom risotto or a pulled pork platter. Enjoy – KWGTP
