Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Syrah opens with a blackberry and wintermint bouquet with a hint of dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, and the wine is very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild cured meat and blackberry blend with notes of gentle black licorice and black pepper. There are hints of oak and mint in the background. The finish is dry, and its flavors and mild tannins fade away nicely. This Syrah is food friendly and would pair nicely with grilled bratwurst!
