Wine Review: This dark scarlet colored Shiraz and Cabernet blend opens with a blackberry and faint oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, nicely balanced, smooth and round. The flavor profile is a gentle black cherry and gentle mineral blend with hints of faint black currant, tea and oak. The finish is dry and its mild fine grain tannins do linger for a bit. Overall, this a delicate wine considering the grapes involved. It is very easy to drink and it quite nice. I would pair it with Salisbury steak smothered in a mushroom and onion gravy. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2017 Henry's Drive Shiraz/Cabernet has an attractive bouquet of ripe mulberry, mint and nutmeg. The palate is beautifully balanced with firm tannins and flavors of boysenberry, raspberry and toasted spice. This Serve at room temperature with herb crusted rack of lamb or veal scaloppini.
