Wine Review: This wine opens with a fragrant ripe strawberry bouquet with a hint of pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, juicy and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is a strawberry jam with a hint of mild oak and touch of red currant. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and gentle oak tannins linger slightly. This Cab reminded me a bit more like a Zin than a Cab. It will pair well with a barbecue rack of ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Garnet Aroma: Red fruit, cherries and red currants with hints of oak and spice Taste: A medium bodied, lively wine with delicate red fruit and a balanced finish Pairing suggestions: Flank steak, braised beef, or a pasta dish with mushrooms and caramelized onions
