Wine Review: This deep garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon based blend from Viña Cobos opens with a shy black currant and crushed stone bouquet with hints of Bing cherry and dark chocolate cake. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and bright. The flavor profile is black currant and coffee blend with notes of gentle oak and blackberry. We also detected hints of stone dust and faint strawberry. The finish is dry, and its managed dusty tannins stick around for a while. The Tasting Panel would briefly decant this Cab blend before pairing it with very juicy Kobe sauteed mushroom and Swiss burger or with the same burger just black n' blue. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby red with darker reflections. On the nose there are aromas of blueberries, plum, sweet spices, and graphite. Balanced medium body with firm tannins and a long finish.
