Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Malbec from Viña Cabos opens with a shy red cherry and cedar bouquet with a hint of black plum, and tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well balanced, very smooth, fresh and pleasant. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and cedar blend with notes of graphite and black raspberry. We also detected some hints of black licorice and black coffee. The finish is dry, and its moderate polished tannins, flavors and acidity are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair the Malbec with a filet mignon with a blueberry glaze or with a lamb burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Ruby red with violet reflections. Complex in character with aromas of black fruits, violets, and spices. On the palate it presents itself with good structure, medium acidity, and polished tannins.
