Wine Review: This deep purple colored Malbec from Vino Cobos is a good value. On the nose, it displays rich blackberry, black currant, black plum and cassis with hints of nutmeg, Bazooka bubble gum and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. We also found it to be well-balanced, juicy and bright. The flavor profile is earthy with dark fruit notes of black currant and black raspberry with nicely integrated minerality. The finish is dry and its nicely integrated tannins linger nicely. We would serve this very good Malbec with coq au vin. Enjoy - Karen & Stuart
Winemaker Notes: Bright and deep purple color. Aromas of black fruit reminiscent of fresh plum mixed with graphite notes. On the palate the wine is balanced and energetic, with sweet and round tannins and long finish.
