Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Malbec opens with a unique and fragrant cinnamon, teaberry, and toasted coconut bouquet. On the palate, this wine is just medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is an extracted blackberry and anise blend with notes of macerated black cherry and black tea. I also detected hints of fine stone minerality, teaberry and oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and dusty tannins linger and last for a bit. I would pair this Malbec with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
