Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine from Argentina opens with a black cherry and black raspberry bouquet with hints of cinnamon. orange oil and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. We also found it to be very juicy and layered. The flavor profile is a graphite influenced red plum and black currant blend with notes of green tea and black raspberry. We also detected hints of oregano, integrated minerality and a touch of cedar plank towards the end. The finish is dry and its mild dusty tannins linger and were nicely extended. This wine would pair well with a grilled flank steak with garlic and rosemary or with chimichurri sauce. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby red color. Fruity, spicy and elegant character. Notes of blueberries, fresh plums, dark chocolate, and sweet spice. Full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins. Long persistency.
