Wine Review: This garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Vina Cobos opens with an attractive black cherry, red currant and dark chocolate bouquet with hints of menthol. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with slightly elevated acidity. The flavor profile is a graphite infused cassis with notes of black plum, oak and a hint of tobacco. The finish is dry and is moderate tannins linger and last for a very long time. The Panel suggested pairing this Cab with a Brazilian chimichurri skirt steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deep, brilliant red. On the nose, aromas of cassis, black cherries, blackberries, and floral notes elegantly complement sweet and pungent spices like nutmeg, black pepper and tobacco. Round tannins provide structure and tension on the palate, and integrate with complex flavors of fruit and subtle oak.
