Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Malbec from Vina Cobos opens with a faint blackberry, damp earth, leather, and licorice like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral infused black cherry with notes of red currant and plum. The finish is quite dry and its shows a little heat in the end. The panel suggested pairing this Malbec with slow cooked beef brisket or eggplant parmigianna. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Intense dark garnet, with flecks of purple and indigo. The nose introduces floral notes at first, followed by intense redcurrant, raspberry, black cherry and a hint of vanilla and white chocolate. Very bright on the palate, with fleshy, polished tannins and a juicy berry acidity that keeps this unique, assertive Malbec focused.
