Wine Review: This opaque and onyx colored Cabernet from Argentina opens with a mild red currant bouquet with a hint of cranberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very approachable. The flavor profile is a mild black currant and gentle red currant blend with nicely integrated old oak. I also detected hints of black plum and black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins linger slightly. This is a well-priced Cab that delivers good value. I would pair this wine with a tangy pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense notes of blackberry, cherry, and black tea entice the nose, before hints of black pepper and smoke rise from this saturated, inky purple Cabernet Sauvignon. The richly textured palate brings black cherry, milk chocolate, rose petal jam and subtle clove tones supported by firm, velvety tannins.
