Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored Malbec opens a fragrant black raspberry and plum like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, slightly acidic and very savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty plum with notes of blueberry and blackberry. I also detected a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are nicely prolonged. This Malbec was well received by our dinner party and it went well with the wild boar sausage. You could also pair it with beef brisket and. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark as night with indigo reflections, this powerful, dense Malbec offers aromas of blackberries, black cherries and a savory touch reminiscent of soy sauce. Seamless from entry to finish, it is weighty on the palate, woven with rich, velvety tannins and notes of black fruits, red licorice, mocha and a hint of creme brulee over a perfectly integrated oak background.
