Wine Review: This good value, dry German Riesling is pale straw-colored, and the summery bouquet includes plenty of pear, honeydew, and fresh green herbs, with notes of peony, tangerine and chalk. There's a nice round mouthfeel on the palate, with medium body and medium-plus acidity, it's balanced, smooth, fresh, and bright. I found flavors of crisp pear, lime zest, with notes of green apple and saline. The finish is clean and refreshing. A second glass is easy to pour. Serve lightly chilled with a mixed greens, pear, creamy goat cheese and candied walnuts salad with raspberry vinaigrette. - Mark
