Wine Review: This medium straw-colored Pinot Blanc opens with a lemon verbena and white peach bouquet with hints of ginger and orange blossom. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with brisk plus acidity. The flavor profile is a gentle white peach and mild white grapefruit blend with notes of lemon zest, saline, and stony minerality. The finish is dry, slightly creamy and very refreshing. This Pinot Blanc is an affordable and very good option to consider this summer. We would chill it slightly and enjoy it at the beach with mini-crab cakes with mustard creme fraiche, peach bruschetta or with mussels steamed in wine and garlic. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
Winemaker Notes: Villa Wolf Pinot Blanc is an elegant and easy drinking wine. Fresh and bright aromas come from picking the fruit at the optimal ripeness. This medium-bodied dry wine is complex, and off dry, with just the right amount of acidity creating a great balance. It is light and fruity enough to enjoy on its own but also pairs well with food.
